I just thought of something…

With the exception of one ex, I don’t think anyone I dated have read my blog.

If you are a blogger, do you think your significant other or person you are dating should attempt to read your blog? Perhaps, this is a reflection of how much the person really wants to get to know you or maybe not. Can it be a reflection of their emotional investment in the relationship? You tell me.

To continue "dating" someone, I believe there should be some incentive, has to be 2-way..

Let’s say, you just started “seeing” someone.. You are very excited about him or her. But….

How do you know if this new affection is corresponded?

In today’s technological era, you can assess sentimentality and affection perhaps by using a semantic or text mining software or an emotive analysis software. It can compare the emails or correspondence of the couple in question. Then it gives a value based on sentimentality or emotional commitment for each person and determine if there is a compatibility or if there is a WIDE Discrepancy between the two.

Thus, I believe it is important to evaluate and re-evaluate the emotional commitment exposed by the two via communication. It may reflect true feelings… What do you think?

I will end with this: you cant play tennis solo (you can, but you can’t call this a match, can you?) or you can’t compete in salsa or ballroom dancing by yourself. You need a partner. You can say you are dating someone but if the other person does not think so, then it is definitely not two way… One will end up hurt. Hopefully, I or someone else will invent technology that can protect others from being hurt in relationships…

What do you think of this PSA run by the NYC Dept. of Health?

As a Public Health professional, I understand this ad activates the emotional response of viewers. Yet, I question if such response will activate the desire to lower or de-activate a current high risk behavior, in this case, smoking.

I was that crying child, exactly 31 years ago today… I got to go to church soon and pray for my Dad’s soul. That is why I object to that ad…perhaps my own personal connection…

I just saw a news clip about these Good Samaritan and since this is Holy Week, I wanted to increase your awareness of this group of good people. They go out of their way to provide water, prayer, and Christian burial to the immigrants who cross the border and die in the desert. These travelers were looking for a better life in the US, just like the immigrants who were in that ESL class in Binghamtom.

Have you heard of the unemployed Vietnamese man of Chinese descent who murdered the ESL students at the community center?

Many years ago, my mom took one of these classes while I was a little kid (around 4-6 year old). I dont know what would become of me if my mom was one of those victims. Imagine if one of the victims was a single parent leaving a little kid alone. Rest in Peace…

Look at his body language

Dear Reader:

What do you think of the above picture? I have seen the ads for Nora Robert’s Lifetime’s films in the past few days. I look at them and say to myself “I dont think he is into her!”

Let’s analyze the body language of this dude:

1. His Hands wrapped around her – good. Shows proximity and response to her hands on him.

2. head tilted – good….though

3. His eyes looking straight down instead on her is not a good sign – he may be thinking of someone else!

4. His Frown – Why is he frowning? He should be smiling being held by a beautiful woman.
